Ajman Bank, a frontrunner in Islamic banking within the UAE, recently announced the appointment of seasoned financial expert Adrian P.L. Hodges as its new Group Treasurer. Hodges joins the bank with a stellar background, boasting over thirty years of experience in treasury and global financial markets, marking a significant addition to the bank’s leadership team.
Adrian Hodges is well-recognized for his previous role as the Head of Global Markets Solutions at the Commercial Bank of Dubai. In that capacity, he was instrumental in overhauling the bank’s foreign exchange operations, transitioning them into a more dynamic and solutions-oriented global markets service. This expertise will bring transformative changes to Ajman Bank’s treasury operations.

Throughout his distinguished career, Hodges has demonstrated exceptional capability in establishing profitable client portfolios, steering significant organizational transformations, and delivering substantial financial outcomes within tightly defined risk frameworks. His resume includes high-level positions such as President – Head of Structured Treasury Solutions at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank and Head of Structuring & Sales, Treasury & Investments at National Bank of Dubai.

Hodges holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Southampton University in the UK. His appointment is anticipated to drive significant advancements in Ajman Bank’s offerings and strategic initiatives, reinforcing its position in the competitive landscape of Islamic banking.
