Foodex Saudi 2019 to Attract Local, International Exhibitors

Foodex Saudi 2019 plans to attract a large number of local, foreign exhibitors. It is the largest Saudi international food and beverage event to be held in Jeddah on Nov. 11-14, 2019. 

Singapore, India, China, and Uzbekistan are preparing for their first official participation in the seventh edition of Foodex Saudi. It is the largest Saudi international food and beverage event – which returns to Jeddah from 11–14 November.

In total, the show expects to attract more than 600 exhibitors from 50 countries. It represents a unique trading platform for exhibitors from all over the world to grab opportunities in Saudi Arabia – the Middle East’s largest food market by economic and consumer parameters. 

 Various prestigious local authorities and bodies – including the Saudi Food and Drug Authority, Al Watania Agriculture Holding Company, the First Milling Company, King Abdulaziz University, College of Tourism, and the Saudi Arabian Chefs' Association – will be supporting the upcoming event. 

 Foodex Saudi is also supported by the World Association of Chefs Societies, whose President – Chef Thomas Gugler – will preside over the international chefs’ competition held annually as part of Foodex Saudi every year.

 The premier event has experienced dramatic expansion since its inaugural edition seven years ago, by helping consolidate the Saudi food market as one of the world’s largest, most promising food markets today. 

 The event will offer opportunities to traders, importers and industry specialists to exchange business information, share experiences discover the latest international food industry products and technologies, The show will also honor innovators through its ‘Foodex Saudi Award for Excellence in the Food Industry’ accolades. 

 From 11–14 November, the expo will display the latest products of fresh, chilled and frozen foods, dairy products, and services and equipment for food, canned foods, meat, poultry, snacks, and sweets. The four-day event will showcase 200 food specialties in fine dining and more than 9,000 visitors representing different sections of the prestigious trade show.
