‘Development of Youth and Sports for A Solidarity-Based Ummah’ Theme of 5th ICYSM

In collaboration with the Saudi Ministry of Sport, the General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will organize the conference in Jeddah on 7-9 September.

The conference is anticipated to delve into the state of youth in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Member States. It will along with the significance that the OIC and its connected agencies and institutions place on youth empowerment and athletics.

This discussion will analyze how to strengthen young people’s abilities and develop their contributions to society. It will happen with the aim of providing conditions favorable to consistency, advancement, and affluence. Terrorist organizations advocated combating extremist and violent ideas and also inspiring dialogue, rationality, tolerance, and honor for others.

The conference will also examine Member States’ commitment to carrying out the OIC’s youth and sports development concepts. Basically, the main purpose is to foster collective Islamic action in the sphere of youth and sports.

The conference will examine the endeavors of the OIC Member States and organizations that specialize in the fields of youth and sports. It includes the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), Women Development Organization (WDO), Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Center for Islamic Countries (SESRIC), Islamic Center for Development of Trade (ICDT), Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation (ISSF), Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF), and the International Union of Muslim Scouts (IUMS).
