Kuwait – Warba Bank announced the launch of a website for Point of Sale (POS) Service & Payment Gateway. The service was launched in March 2014 to enable the Bank’s merchant customers holding licenses for conducting various commercial activities to collect payments from their respective clients at competitive rates thus reflecting the Bank’s desire to maximize its customers’ service organise and develop their products in line with the provisions of Islamic Sharia.
Commenting on the new website, Cards Department Manager- Retail Banking Group, Mr. Talal Al Arbeed, said:” Through the new website dedicated to users of POS and payment gateway, Warba merchant customers will be able to review all transactions carried out via POS or through payment gateway without having to get back to the Bank”.
“The new site also has a feature for saving the operations that have been made or revised in Excel and PDF formats, ensuring customers have greater flexibility in uploading and sharing relevant documents in a very confidential and easy manner. This is in addition to the availability of after – sale services which Warba realizes its significance to merchant customers as they can benefit directly from claims service they daily need to complete their transactions without getting back to the Bank. Additionally, the Bank is in the process of developing mobile applications for Apple and Android systems to enable customers to safely, confidentially and efficiently check the financial transactions made via the POS terminal” added Al Arbeed.
Al Arbeed concluded: “All these unique features and services are introduced to ensure the Bank’s continuous endeavours towards excellence among modern Islamic banks by meeting the expectations of its various customer segments, and providing them with innovative Islamic Sharia – compliant banking products thus facilitating customers ‘transactions. These products are marketed within the framework of strict banking confidentiality “.
Warba Bank has dedicated its merchant customers with POS service aiming at organizing and developing their sales by using electronic banking products and services, customers can buy and sell through the Internet, and will be able to collect their payments thus supporting entrepreneurs”.
The new site is available in both Arabic and English, through which customers can communicate with the Bank to enquire about the services offered by the site and learn about the details of POS Service and Payment Gateway. They can also contact the Customer Service Center at 1825555 or visit one of the Bank’s branches for more information.
