The highly anticipated Second Sarajevo Halal Fair (SHF) will take place in the vibrant capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo, from September 26th to 28th, 2019, in the dynamic venue of Skenderija. This year’s SHF promises to be an exceptional event, gathering halal manufacturers, distributors, and consumers from across the globe.
SHF 2019 is set to be a landmark event, bringing together key players in the halal industry, including producers, distributors, and customers from various countries such as Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, and Turkey. This diverse participation aims to foster valuable connections between halal product manufacturers and service providers with potential customers and distributors from these key markets.
The Sarajevo Halal Fair presents a unique opportunity for halal producers to connect with global distributors who are active in international markets. This engagement can facilitate the global promotion and distribution of halal products and services originating from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Currently, over 85 halal-certified companies are operating in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and more than 120 in the broader region. These companies collectively offer more than 4,500 halal products and services, reflecting the region’s robust halal market.
At the SHF 2018, the event facilitated numerous meetings between regional halal producers and service providers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Macedonia, and Albania, and significant buyers and distributors from the European Union, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Indonesia, and other international markets.
The organizers of SHF 2019 emphasize that the halal market is among the fastest-growing sectors worldwide. According to the State of the Global Islamic Economy Report 2017-2018, the consumption of halal foods and beverages is expanding nearly twice as fast as the global average. This growth trend is also evident in related sectors such as halal tourism, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and Islamic finance.
The increasing demand for halal products and services has created a supply gap, presenting a prime opportunity for companies in our region to showcase their offerings to wholesale and retail chains at SHF 2019. Don’t miss out on this chance to connect with key stakeholders, explore new market opportunities, and drive your business forward in the burgeoning halal industry.
