Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB) has won the British publication International Finance Magazine’s (IFM) Best Islamic Bank Award in Bahrain for 2014.
During a ceremony held in London, BisB retail banking services general manager Abdul Rahman Mohamed Turki received the award from Baron Sheikh of Cornhill in the City of London, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
Lisa was awarded in recognition of its contributions to the growth of Islamic financing and its services which meet the needs of its clients.

The award underlines our prestigious status in the Islamic banking sector in Bahrain. It also reflects the bank’s continued excellence in various domains from its distinguished performance and good reputation in the Islamic banking scene to its tangible contributions in enhancing the growth of Islamic financing in Bahrain, and its unique products in terms of innovation and development, Ahmed Hassan pointed out.
