The Notice Of Non Muslim Countries Halal Food Products

JAKARTA (Pos Kota) – The issue of halal food and beverage products will be the concern of all countries in the coming era, both Muslim and non-Muslim countries. By giving certainty on halal products then all countries will be easier to attract foreign tourists coming to the country.

“If now there are many countries that have not implemented the kosher food and beverage products. And it’s difficult for the people who visit Muslim countries concerned, “said Rector of the University of Muhammadiyah Prof. Hamka (Uhamka) Prof. Suyatno interrupted national seminar entitled urgency kosher food review in the Islamic sharia, Saturday (6/9).

Though Muslims mobility to various countries is increasing. Includes visits to non-Muslim countries which incidentally never memperhatian issue halal food products and beverages.

According Suyatno, today many non-Muslim countries who began pioneering the establishment of halal certification bodies. The agency is required to provide issuing halal certification for products to be exported to the Islamic majority countries.

Rector reminded that kosher is a necessary condition that must be considered when a Muslim to consume food or beverages. Halal is not only the sharia laws but also the process to get it.

“If the process of getting food in ways that do not really like stealing, or the corruption of course is haraam too,” said Suyatno.

He also warned that kosher food is important in the process of formation of the child’s behavior. In addition to high nutrient content, good food is a food that is kosher and Toyib.

“Food is a major shaper child’s behavior in the future. Will determine whether the child will grow into a good, devout or otherwise like brawl, naughty and wicked, “said Suyatno.

Food obtained from the corruption would be result in children who are less moral.Instead of food obtained in the right way it will produce children with good morals.

Therefore, in collaboration with LPPOM Uhamka MUI and a number of overseas universities attempt to socialize halal products. Socialization is important so that people know exactly what the criteria and requirements of a product can be said to be lawful.

“I also encourage students to take part more on the issue of halal certification of this product,” said Suyatno. (Inung).
