Ali Reza Moaf, an Iranian Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance official, announced Monday that the Tehran International Quran Exhibition would be held from April 1-15 at the Imam Khomeini Mosalla in Tehran. The exhibition will be open to visitors from 5 PM to 1 AM daily, featuring 400 programs promoting Quranic concepts and activities.
One of the event’s highlights will be a gathering to honor Quran servants, which Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi will attend. Those who serve the Quran in eight specialized fields will be recognized and honored during the ceremony.
The National Center for Translation of the Quran will also be inaugurated during the exhibition in a special ceremony. Moaf noted that the exhibition space has increased from 50,000 square meters last year to 75,000 square meters this year.
Moaf highlighted the international aspect of the expo, noting that 22 countries have expressed their readiness to participate in the Quranic event. Additionally, the Awqaf and culture ministers of seven countries will be in attendance.
According to the Supreme Cultural Revolution Council, the exhibition is the largest Quranic event in Iran and one of the most significant Quranic events in the Muslim world. This year marks the 30th edition of the event, which reflects the efforts of Iranian administrations to promote the Holy Quran.
The exhibition’s theme this year is “I Read You,” which emphasizes the importance of continuously reading the Holy Quran. The Tehran International Quran Exhibition is organized annually by the Iranian Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in the holy month of Ramadan.
In addition to showcasing the latest Quranic achievements in the country, the exhibition will also feature various products dedicated to promoting the Holy Book.
