Ramadan Mubarak to you all and your friends and families, too. But, what is it all about? How should we spend our time during this holy month? What are our responsibilities as Muslims? How our fellow Muslims are around the globe spending this Ramadan? Are we taking advantage of the countless bounties Allah has showered on us during this month? How could we spend these days in the best way possible?
As it is the start of Ramadan we need to ask ourselves these and many other questions. Just a day ago, we reported that people in Afghanistan have very little to nothing to eat. Do you have any plans to spend some of your money to feed the hungry around you and the world over? The Washington Post reported recently that Ramadan was starting amid soaring prices in much of the world.
There is so much suffering around the world due to various political and economic reasons. Are we going to do enough to help alleviate some of this suffering from people?
We may want to focus on the following to spend our time during this holy month wisely.
- Get closer to Allah by doing good deeds and helping the poor and the needy
- Focus on important things only and remove distractions like social media and other forms of waste.
